The Pre-CanSkate program is our learn to skate entry program for 1st time skaters, age 4 yrs + with no on ice skating experience. Classes are 30 mins in length and teach skaters how to stand-up on their own, gain balance, move forward on the ice, move backwards and the beginning skills for on ice stops.

STARSkate offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skating skills, free skate and artistic skating. Unique in Canada, this program teaches figure skating skills in a group and/or private lesson format in a progressive and sequential manner.

The Golden Edge Adult STARSkate program is an athlete centred program designed to provide a positive, encouraging, inspiring and productive environment for skaters of all levels over the age of 18.

The Special Olympics Figure Skating program provides opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities to participate in recreational and competitive skating. These skaters develop skills and build confidence in year round programs with qualified coaches at local, provincial and national levels. The program emphasizes inclusivity, allowing athletes to participate at levels to suit their individual needs and abilities.

We offer a wide variety of off ice training throughout the year. Our trainers/coaches will focus on strength, conditioning, off ice jump, flexibility, dance, goal setting and much more.

We offer both an Intro to Pairs & Ice Dance Program, as well as a Competitive Pairs Program. Intro skaters will learn the very basics of skating together with another person as well as beginner lifts, side by side spins, death spirals, throw jumps, and side by side jumps. Competitive Skaters will learn to train in the discipline of pairs with their set partner and work together to learn all of the various elements needed to compete at a competitive level from juvenile to senior pairs.
